The Internal Cohesion Theory and Psychotherapy - Wiley

The Internal Cohesion Theory and Psychotherapy by Dr. Fitim Uka introduces a groundbreaking and holistic approach called Internal Cohesion Psychotherapy (ICP). Rooted in Internal Cohesion Theory, ICP addresses multiple aspects of human functioning—intrapersonal, interpersonal, professional, and spiritual—across past, present, and future experiences.

This integrative framework combines evidence-based psychological and psychotherapeutic principles to promote well-being, prevent mental health disorders, and enhance therapeutic outcomes. Dr. Uka offers step-by-step guidance for creating effective treatment plans, emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship and its role in reducing the impact of adversity.

Designed for clinicians, therapists, researchers, and policymakers, the book provides practical tools and insights for applying ICP in diverse treatment settings, making it a vital resource for those committed to improving individual and societal mental health.

In Time For Myself

“N’kohë për veten” (“In time for ourself”) is an illuminating book that presents Internal Cohesion Psychotherapy in a self-applicable and transformative version. Serving as a thought-provoking guide, it prompts a different way of thinking, encourages reflection, and fosters empathy. While a book may not provide a complete solution, it stands as a valuable catalyst, sparking the initial steps toward understanding and, in turn, facilitating personal growth and self-help.
